Apparel Technical Designer (Remote, 4-Day Work Week)

JOYFOLIE is seeking an experienced Technical Fashion Designer to join our growing team.

This is more than a tech pack role. You'll work closely with Design and Production to transform creative concepts into beautifully executed garments that maintain both fit integrity and design intent throughout development.

What You'll Do

• Create and maintain detailed tech packs for production
• Develop garment specifications, grading, and measurement charts
• Review development and fit samples
• Provide clear fit comments and technical revisions
• Communicate directly with vendors and factories
• Ensure design intent is preserved throughout development
• Troubleshoot construction, fit, and production challenges
• Track product changes and maintain organized documentation

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Technical Design experience in apparel
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit, grading, and pattern interpretation
• Proven experience creating professional tech packs
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple styles and deadlines
• Advanced Adobe Illustrator skills
• Strong written communication skills for factory correspondence

• Experience with children's apparel
• Experience with women's apparel
• Production or sourcing experience
• Experience working with overseas factories
• Experience working remotely with international teams
