We are looking for animator in order to to develop an animated product video for our charity. We are a small non-profit based on a patented technology, invented by the founders of the charity. Our technology attempts to address the WHO WASH initiative, providing sanitary water without the drawbacks of wells, reverse osmosis, or UV treatment or areas where these technologies fail. For information about our non-profit, please visit
We looking for an animated video about 60 seconds to two minutes in length, that will inspire people and give them an understanding of our product.
Using the below link, the Dove, McDonalds, and Starbucks videos are good examples of the type of animation we are looking for:
This is the first video in a series that we will be making, meaning there is potential for follow-on work.
Here is a small section of a detailed write-up I have done in preparation for this:
• The video will cover a series of scenarios that will largely track this format:
o A character with a water filtration system that is working perfectly but it slowly degrades until it simply is not able to filter water anymore.
o A character with a reverse osmosis system that filters, giving them a small amount of water out of a faucet, but a large amount of water flowing out of the other side of the filter.
o A UV treatment system that fails to treat water because the microbes are protected by dirt particles.
o A final phase of the video showing DrinkPure treating water going to a faucet, showing treated water that won’t get the user sick, as well as a system treating the sewage leaving a house before going to a river, showing that the
o The video should be continuous, with the voice-overs for each section listed.
• Detailed video walk through:
o Video opens with a character in a village, briefly showing infrastructure pulling water from a high water table (underground water but close to the surface).
? “Meet Joe. Joe is living in an area that does not have access to government infrastructure, and must source his own water. Joe has a high water table surrounding his home, and uses a well to pull water into his home.”
o The video shows the user turning on a faucet and the video zooms in to show small dirt particles and organic particles holding viruses and bacteria.
? “However, a close look at the water in his home shows that the shallow water table has been contaminated, a common occurrence around the world. Small dirt particles and other organic matter hold bacteria and viruses that are making Joe sick. Joe did his research, and decided to install a water treatment system in his home in order to ensure his water is safe to drink.”
o The video shows the user installing a reverse osmosis system and a UV system in the pipes before the faucet. (Underground water -> house -> Reverse osmosis system -> UV treatment system -> faucet)
