Advanced Video Editor (Long-Form + Short-Form)

We're a content and marketing agency working with founders, coaches, and B2B brands. We're hiring an Advanced Video Editor who can handle both long-form YouTube content and short-form Reels and TikToks at a high level.
This is not a basic editing role. We're looking for someone who understands pacing, storytelling, and retention — someone who watches Ali Abdaal, Kallaway, or Colin and Samir and understands why their edits work, not just how to copy them.
You'll be editing for multiple clients across different niches — water sports, business coaching, and B2B. Each brand has a different voice and style. You need to be able to switch between them without losing quality.
What you'll be doing:

Editing long-form YouTube videos (10-30 minutes) with strong retention-focused structure
Cutting short-form content from long-form (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts)
Adding captions, text overlays, transitions, and B-roll in a way that feels intentional, not generic
Sourcing and syncing trending audio for short-form content
Delivering clean, publish-ready files on time, every time
Taking a brief and executing without hand-holding

You're the right person if:

You've edited long-form YouTube content for a creator or brand (not just personal videos)
You have a portfolio or reel that shows range — talking head, cinematic, b-roll-heavy edits
You know the difference between a good hook cut and a bad one
You use Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve at an advanced level
Preferrbly you use Adobe After Effects
CapCut or Edits is fine for short-form, but not your only tool
You're fast, organized, and don't need to be chased for deliverables
