In this role, you will work closely with the admin team. You will be the day-to-day logistics coordinator for company operations and programs. You will be involved in recruitment and some HR tasks. You will set up after-school, school, camp, and teacher training programs, and liaising with school partners and parent clients (if needed). You will be responsible for helping the admin team to make smooth continuity of currently running programs. This is a part-time position for around 15-20 hours per week and could expand. You must also be available to troubleshoot any issues in real-time during our after-school programs which run between 2 PM-6 PM EST. You should also have the availability to work earlier if need be.
Tasks:
A: Programming
-Assisting in setting up afterschool, in-school, and camp programs
-Assisting in Setting up teacher training, workshops, special events, and birthday parties
-Preparing all documentation needed for programs
-Assisting the scheduling and close communication with instructors to support them and improve our programs
-Communication with parents and schools about our programs if needed
-Maintenance of client and partner database in Google Sheets
B: HR & Recruitment
-Manage end to end recruitment process
-HR-related tasks like employee onboarding, etc.
C: Management of projects associated with the above in Asana
Skills:
Strong fluency in English (written and verbal)
Proactive attitude--not waiting for orders but actively problem-solving
Experience in working in a fast-paced start-up environment
Flexible and able to teach yourself quickly
Excellent time management
Strong analytical skills
Critical thinking
Communication skills include, but not limited to, creative writing, internal and external communications, etc.
Expertise in Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.)
Ability to project manage team in Asana (you can teach yourself Asana in the first two weeks of work)
