We’re looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Video Editor to support us on an ad-hoc / project basis. If you can switch between fast-paced social content and more structured training videos, this role is for you.
Role Overview
You’ll be editing a mix of:
Short-form content (Reels, TikTok, Shorts)
Longer-form videos such as teacher training sessions, workshops, and recorded presentations
Work will come in batches or per project, depending on our needs.
Responsibilities
Edit engaging short-form videos for social media
Clean up and structure training recordings (e.g. teacher training sessions, workshops)
Cut dead air, improve flow, and enhance clarity for educational content
Add captions, text overlays, and simple motion graphics
Sync audio, improve sound quality, and ensure clear delivery
Follow brand guidelines and creative direction
Deliver outputs on time
Requirements
Proven video editing experience (portfolio required)
Skilled in tools like Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar
Strong attention to detail—especially for longer, structured content
Ability to organize and edit raw recordings into clear, easy-to-follow videos
Good communication and reliability
Stable internet and ability to meet deadlines
Nice to Have
Experience editing educational or training content
Familiarity with subtitles/captions for accessibility
Basic color correction and audio cleanup skills
Motion graphics (After Effects is a plus)
Compensation
Paid per project / per video
Rates depend on complexity and experience
