This is a remote position open to candidates based in the Philippines, offering the flexibility to work from home while being an integral part of a global team.

Position Summary:

As an Accounting Manager at NextKey Services, you will play a critical role in leading our financial management team and overseeing the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in accounting, management experience, and proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or XERO. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality accounting services, managing teams, and a commitment to excellence in client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee the daily operations of multiple clients, including the review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Supervise multiple accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high standards of work.
Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
Oversee all aspects of the general ledger, financial reporting, and compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
Manage selected clients' accounting operations, including third-party platforms like Bill.com, ensuring vendors are paid, and customer receipts are recorded accurately and timely.
Utilize QBO and/or XERO to manage financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
Collaborate with the finance team to implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Provide strategic analyses and recommendations to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.
Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and other service providers as needed.
Address client inquiries and deliver exceptional client service and problem resolution.

Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
10-12 years of proven accounting experience with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
Experience operating in a remote environment is preferred.
MUST have previous experience in client service roles, demonstrating a strong focus on client satisfaction.
MUST have experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or XERO.
MUST have experience serving US-based entities
MUST work US Hours (Eastern Time) to align with the company and client needs.
MUST have their own equipment suitable for remote work; equipment may be upgraded after a trial period based on performance.
