AI Web App Developer — Full Stack (React + Node + Claude API)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building an AI-powered web app for a well-established online business in the creator space. The business has been operating for 5 years with a large, engaged audience and existing revenue — this is a funded project, not a startup idea.

We need a skilled developer who has genuine experience building AI-powered applications — specifically using large language model APIs (we are using Anthropic Claude). This is not a generic web app build. The core product is AI-driven and the quality of the AI integration is what makes or breaks it.

This is a long-term opportunity. If you are the right person, this role grows with the product.

WHAT YOU WILL BUILD

A mobile-first web application with the following core components:

- AI content generation engine using the Anthropic Claude API
- Per-user profile system that stores voice, tone, and preference data to personalise AI outputs over time
- Daily interactive prompt flow — guided questions that feed into AI-generated content
- Image upload and storage
- Social media publishing integration (Buffer or Later API — Facebook and Instagram)
- User authentication and subscription billing (Stripe)
- Simple database architecture for storing user data, content history, and ideas
- Email platform integration (MailerLite API)

The frontend is React or Next.js. The backend is Node.js or Python — we are open to recommendation. Hosting on Cloudflare or Vercel.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Essential:
- Proven experience building with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar)
- Strong full-stack skills — React frontend, Node.js or Python backend
- Experience with third-party API integrations
- Ability to think about product architecture, not just execute a spec
- Good written English — you will need to communicate clearly with a non-technical founder
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Nice to have:
- Experience with Anthropic Claude API specifically
- Experience with Buffer or Later API
- Experience with Stripe subscription billing
- Understanding of prompt engineering and context management
