We are a growing Scottish tourism company creating luxury private tours of Scotland for clients from around the world. Alongside this, we also produce business, travel and lifestyle content for several brands and social media channels.

We're looking for a talented, creative and reliable Video Editor to join our team on a long-term basis.

This is not just another editing job. We're looking for someone who can help turn hours of raw footage into engaging social media content that people genuinely enjoy watching.

## The Role

You'll receive raw footage from:

* Scotland tours
* Road trips
* Customer experiences
* Scenic landscapes
* Wildlife
* Driver and guide footage
* Talking head videos
* Business and educational videos
* Promotional content
* Comedy and lifestyle clips

Your job will be to transform this footage into professional, engaging videos for:

* Instagram Reels
* TikTok
* Facebook
* YouTube Shorts
* YouTube
* LinkedIn

## Responsibilities

* Review and organise raw footage
* Identify the best ---------- nts and highlights
* Create engaging short-form videos
* Produce longer YouTube edits when required
* Add captions and subtitles
* Source suitable royalty-free music
* Add transitions, graphics and branding
* Colour correct footage
* Improve audio quality
* Create eye-catching hooks within the first 3 seconds
* Optimise videos for each social media platform
* Suggest content ideas and improvements
* Maintain an organised archive of completed projects

## Essential Skills

* Excellent video editing ability
* Strong understanding of social media content
* Experience with Premiere Pro, Final Cut, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve or similar
* Experience using AI editing tools such as Opus Clip, Descript, CapCut AI or similar
* Excellent English
* Strong attention to detail
* Creative mindset
* Reliable internet connection
* Ability to meet deadlines

## Bonus Skills

These aren't essential but would be a huge advantage:

* Motion graphics
* Drone footage editing
* Lightroom or Photoshop
* Thumbnail creation
* YouTube optimisation
* Social media management
* Experience with tourism or travel content
