? GERMAN LANGUAGE SKILLS — MAJOR BONUS

Most of our ads are in German, so German language skills are a significant plus and will weigh heavily in our hiring decision.
However, it is NOT a requirement. If you do not speak German, you can still edit precisely using translations of the audio and on-screen text — we will support you on this.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a reliable, fast, and creative Video Editor / Cutter to join the team.
You will take pre-organized material folders (AI-generated clips, frames, audio files, voiceovers) prepared by the agency owner and cut them together in CapCut into finalized, high-converting ads.
You will NOT be responsible for generating any AI content, sourcing material, or managing projects — that is fully covered. Your focus is editing: turning organized raw material into polished final ads following our standardized SOPs.
You will work directly with the agency owner, with full training on our process.
This is an important role for scaling our agency, and we are looking for someone to grow with us long-term.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Take pre-organized folders (clips, frames, audio, voiceovers) provided by me, the agency owner
Cut and edit full direct response ads in CapCut
Follow our standardized SOPs and editing processes (full training provided)
Produce ads in different formats and styles (e.g., cartoon style, VSL style, and more)
Hit deadlines consistently and deliver clean, polished outputs
Communicate clearly and quickly with the team

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

Strong CapCut experience (non-negotiable)
Solid video editing experience — you know pacing, cuts, transitions, sound design
Understanding of AI image and video generation — you know how AI clips work and how to edit around their quirks
Fast and reliable execution — when work comes in, you turn it around quickly
Creative thinking — you bring ideas, not just button-pressing
Basic understanding of performance marketing — you know what makes a direct response ad convert (hook, retention, CTA)

NICE-TO-HAVES (BONUS, NOT REQUIRED)

German language skills (see above — BIG plus)
Previous experience editing direct response or short-form ads
Familiarity with AI tools such as Kling, ElevenLabs, nano banana pro, and Higgsfield

WORKLOAD & WORK STYLE

100% remote - work from anywhere
Workload is adaptive. A typical day is 1-2 projects (~2-4 hours of work), but this varies day to day based on what's in the pipeline and your own editing speed. Faster editors get more work and earn more. Quieter weeks mean lighter days.
High availability is critical - when projects come in, we need fast responses
High-performance, fast-paced startup environment - we move quickly and ship hard

TOOLS YOU WILL USE

CapCut (main editing tool)
Google Drive / Dropbox for material folders
Familiarity with AI tools (Kling, ElevenLabs, nano banana pro, Higgsfield) is a plus - the agency owner handles generation, but you should understand the output

(Our working communication tool will be shared with shortlisted candidates.)

REQUIREMENTS

1+ year of video editing experience (ideally short-form / direct response ads)
Proven CapCut skills
Understanding of AI-generated visuals and how to edit around them
Reliable high-speed internet
Available to respond quickly during working hours
Strong written English communication
