## Remote Video Editor (DaVinci Resolve Preferred)

Hi,

I'm currently looking for a reliable video editor to work closely with me on an ongoing basis.

Most of the work will involve editing:

* Social media ads (primarily Facebook and Instagram ads)
* Organic short-form content and Instagram Reels
* Occasionally longer-form brand films and commercial projects

I work primarily in **DaVinci Resolve**, and having experience with Resolve is strongly preferred. However, exceptional editors using other software are still encouraged to apply. I also have a **DaVinci Resolve Studio lifetime license** available for the right candidate.

My colleague is also looking for editing support on longer brand films, so there is potential for a significant amount of ongoing work for the right person.

As part of the role, you may eventually assist with AI video generation workflows using tools such as:

* PixVerse
* Runway
* Veo
* Kling
* Other emerging AI video tools

No prior experience with these tools is required. Full training and documentation will be provided.

For ad creatives and short-form content, compensation can be agreed on a per-video basis initially, with opportunities for longer-term arrangements as we continue working together.

Requirements:

* Experience editing social media ads or short-form content
* Slack for communication
* ClickUp for project management
* Ability to communicate consistently and respond promptly during working hours
* Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with regular feedback and iteration

I'm based in Vancouver, Canada, and this role involves close day-to-day collaboration, so regular communication is essential. Training, systems, workflows, and the DaVinci Resolve license will all be provided.
