The Role
This is NOT a traditional video editing job.
We're looking for an AI-powered Video Editor who specializes in high-converting VSLs and direct-response ad creatives. You won't just cut footage — you'll be building assets that turn cold viewers into paying customers and help scale a European DTC brand from the ground up.
You'll work directly with the creative strategist and performance marketer, producing multiple ad variations per week — all powered by AI workflows.
What You'll Be Creating
VSLs (Video Sales Letters): Short-form, 2–4 minute conversion-focused video ads built with AI-generated visuals, voiceovers, authority figures, and animations — this is your primary output
UGC-Style Ads: AI-created user-generated content that feels native and authentic to social feeds
Street Interview / Testimonial Ads: Realistic AI-generated "man on the street" style social proof videos
Cartoon / Animated Ads: Scroll-stopping AI-generated cartoon-style creatives
Hook Variations: Multiple opening hooks per VSL for systematic split testing
Key Responsibilities
Edit and produce conversion-focused VSLs optimized for Meta
Transform raw briefs, scripts, testimonials, and product shots into high-performing video creatives
Produce multiple ad variations per week using AI editing workflows
Source high-quality UGC, B-roll, and sound effects from TikTok, YouTube, and stock platforms
Use AI tools (avatars, AI voiceovers, B-roll generation) to maximize creative output
Collaborate closely with the creative strategist to iterate quickly based on ad performance data
Stay current on video trends across Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts in the wellness and lifestyle space
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience editing performance ads or VSLs for DTC/eCommerce brands
Deep, hands-on experience with AI video tools: Runway, Pika, Kling, HeyGen, Synthesia, VEO 3, Sora, or similar
Experience with AI voiceover tools: ElevenLabs, PlayHT, or similar
Proficiency in AI image generation: Midjourney, DALL-E, Flux, Leonardo, or similar
Strong skills in CapCut Pro, Premiere Pro, or equivalent editing software
Proven understanding of direct-response marketing and buyer psychology (hooks, pattern interrupts, CTAs)
Able to produce 10–15+ ad creatives per week using AI workflows
Capable of sourcing and curating UGC or short-form content independently
Organized, proactive communicator — able to manage multiple projects at once
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Reliable internet connection and own equipment
