AI Automation Engineer - N8N Expert

Role Summary:
We’re looking for an experienced N8N automation engineer and AI systems specialist to audit, consolidate, and rebuild our entire existing automation workflows across multiple existing tools we use including FastBots.ai, Zapier, Social Platforms, Trello, our CRM, Mailchimp, LinkedIn, Wordpress Website and more. You will design and deploy robust N8N workflows, integrate with third-party platforms, and build new AI-powered automations to enhance marketing, sales, and operational efficiency to increase ROI. This is a remote position with potential for long-term collaboration.

Responsibilities:
- Audit and document all existing automations across FastBots.ai, Zapier, CRM, Ringcentral, email marketing, social platforms and internal tools to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for consolidation.
- Design, build and maintain scalable, well-documented workflows in our N8N environment with proper error handling and logging.
- Migrate various existing AI automation workflows into the main source N8N, ensuring reliability and data integrity.
- Create AI-powered automations for lead generation scraping workflows, lead nurturing automations, marketing campaigns, CRM updates, reporting, and sales notifications.
- Integrate N8N with Mailchimp, Trello, Instagra ---------- ta, LinkedIn, FastBots.ai, Google Workspace, our CRM and other APIs via webhooks and custom connectors.
- Work closely with business management via Microsoft Teams for requirement gathering, testing and weekly simple review and reports.
- Provide clear documentation and Loom walkthroughs for each automation to ensure knowledge transfer.
- Monitor workflows to improve performance, reduce costs and increase ROI.
- Stay current on AI and automation best practices, proposing improvements and new solutions.
- Find opportunities to create automation workflows within the business for efficiency, create workflows to maximize business ROI, and manage ongoing projects for improvement opportunities.

Required Skills:
- Proven experience building complex workflows with N8N and migrating or fusing from Zapier and other AI tools.
- Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON data mapping and integration patterns, lead gen scraping workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Wordpress Website integration and CRM systems, Mailchimp, FastBots.ai, Trello and other marketing automation tools.
- Familiarity with AI platforms (OpenAI, GPT, Claude, deepseek, perplexity etc.) and the ability to incorporate them into workflows.
- Ability to build custom API connectors or modules within N8N.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, debugging and optimizing automations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate directly with management.
- Bonus: Basic Python knowledge and experience with LangChain or other AI frameworks.

Working Hours & Compensation:
- Approximately 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling in Eastern Time.
- Compensation around $600 CAD per month, adjusted based on experience.
- This is a remote position requiring constant contact with management under the specified working hours via Microsoft Teams
