About the role
We are looking for an AI-first automation developer whose brain is wired for workflows, systems, and nodes. You will turn our ideas into connected, automated workflows that save time, reduce human error, and unlock new capabilities across marketing, sales, support, web, and operations.

You should be very comfortable in tools like n8n (and similar visual workflow builders), as well as talking to APIs, wiring webhooks, and embedding AI models into processes. If you naturally see “boxes and arrows” when someone describes a process, and you get excited about replacing manual work with smart automations, this role is for you.

You will not be using us as a playground. You will come in ready to build reliable, documented systems that run every day and directly impact business results.

Key responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain automations in n8n (and similar tools) to connect our apps, data, and workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs (CRM, email, forms, website, analytics, social, etc.) using REST, webhooks, and authentication.
• Embed AI models (OpenAI, Claude, etc.) into workflows for summarization, tagging, content generation, data cleanup, and decision support.
• Create internal “mini-tools” and dashboards to make it easy for non-technical tea ---------- mbers to trigger and monitor workflows.
• Analyze existing manual processes and propose automation ideas that save time and remove repetitive work.
• Monitor workflow health: error handling, logging, alerts, and performance improvements.
• Document each workflow clearly so it can be understood, maintained, and extended by others.
• Collaborate with marketing, web development, and operations to turn business problems into structured, automated solutions.

Requirements
• Strong experience with visual automation tools such as n8n (preferred), Zapier, Make, or similar.
• Comfortable with scripting in JavaScript and/or Python for custom nodes, functions, and edge cases.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and authentication (API keys, OAuth, etc.).
• Experience integrating multiple tools together (CRMs, email platforms, spreadsheets, databases, Slack, project management tools, etc.).
• Practical experience using AI models (OpenAI / Claude / similar) inside automations and agents.
• Systematic thinker who can map processes step-by-step and design clean, maintainable workflows.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with clear documentation habits.

Nice to have
• Experience automating around WordPress, WooCommerce, and marketing tools (SEMRush, GA4, GSC, email platforms).
• Basic database knowledge (MySQL, Postgres, Google Sheets-as-database patterns).
• Background in marketing operations, growth, or data engineering.
