AI Automation Developer (Phone, SMS, Chatbot) + Wix Website Optimization

We are a California-based wellness business seeking a skilled AI Automation Developer for a project-based role to build intelligent communication systems for our company.

This is a build-focused position, not a full-time employment role.

Primary Project Scope:

• Build an AI phone answering system for inbound calls
• Create SMS automation connected to our Google Workspace number
• Develop and train an AI website chatbot
• Connect systems using APIs, Zapier, Make, or similar automation tools
• Optimize our existing Wix website as needed to support automation

This role is AI-focused first. Website updates are secondary.

Required Experience:

• Proven experience building AI phone or voice automation systems
• Experience with Twilio, GoHighLevel, Retell, Vapi, or similar platforms
• Experience building AI chatbots using OpenAI or comparable models
• Strong API integration experience
• Experience designing automation workflows
• Strong English communication skills

Project Structure:

This will begin as a defined build project (estimated 4–8 weeks).
After launch, ongoing maintenance will likely be 5–10 hours per week.

Strong performers may be considered for additional automation projects across multiple ventures.

We are not looking for a general virtual assistant. This is a technical automation role.
