Medical Billing Specialist

Urban Medical is seeking an experienced Medical Biller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately processing medical claims, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring that all billing is completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical coding and billing regulations, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Process and submit claims to insurance companies and other payers.

Review and verify patient information for accuracy.

Follow up on unpaid claims and appeals.

Maintain accurate records of billing activity.

Provide customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries.

Resolve discrepancies between insurance companies and providers.

Stay up-to-date on changes in insurance policies and regulations.
