Marketing Data Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with excellent English-speaking telephone skills. You'll have a passion for data accuracy. An exceptional eye for detail. And proven data management skills. If that's you, we want to hear from you! In this role, you will play a crucial part in qualifying target market contacts on our database. This data will feed direct mail, email, and LinkedIn marketing campaigns. The aim of these campaigns is to generate leads for our business coaching services.

Role overview:
To add to and/or qualify target market contacts on our database for direct mail, email and LinkedIn marketing campaigns to generate leads for business coaching services.

Objectives

1. Adding target market contacts to Mailchimp
• Analysis of existing data and internet research to confirm each company meets target market criteria.
• Importing/adding/updating data in Mailchimp

2. Mailchimp campaign creation
• Creating email campaigns in Mailchimp for target market segments (copy with be provided)
• Testing content, including links
• Identifying target market contacts that have engaged with our content. Qualifying and prepping contacts for direct mail campaigns.

3. Qualify and prepare data for direct mail marketing
• Analysis of existing ---------- cludes desk and internet research to confirm each contact meets target market criteria.
• Telephone qualification to confirm details held are correct. And contact is still within the target market.
• Import/update data in Mailchimp.
• Produce courier datafile. Upload into the courier system and prepare packages for sending.
• Produce personalised letters using mail merge.
• Produce address labels file using mail merge.

4. Building LinkedIn Connections & Followers
• Inviting target market contacts to connect with the directors.
• Inviting first-degree connections to follow the ---------- pany page.

5. Mailchimp data cleansing and updating
• Reviewing and updating cleansed/bounced contacts in Mailchimp


Personal Skills, Attributes & Qualifications

Your knowledge, skills & abilities
• Previous experience working in a data management role.
• Skilled with MS Excel, MS Word and Mailchimp (or equivalent marketing/database system)
• An understanding of marketing from a targeting, data and email marketing perspective
• An experienced user of LinkedIn for yourself and on behalf of other people.
• Excellent understanding and use of written English.
• English language level C2. Experience in using written and spoken English in a business setting, including with regional UK accents, particularly those from the North and North East of England.
• Experience in contacting companies by telephone to confirm/obtain basic contact information.
• Experience in using VOIP/internet-based phone calling systems to UK from The Philippines.

Your qualifications
• Ideally, bachelor-level education or currently studying for a bachelor’s degree.
• Trained in MS Excel and MS Word or have experience of using it.
