Social Media Strategist

Develop integrated social media strategies and drive the social point-of-view for a non-profit organization, resulting in strong creative ideas that resonate on social platforms and help our client businesses grow meaningful relationships and followers. I'm working with a client who would like to grow their followers and also have regular posting on their social channels using Hootsuite. You MUST know how to use Hootsuite and be able to provide insights from the analytics.

Help drive understanding of the broader business and brand context for the Social Strategy:

Understand client goals and deliverables
- Conduct research and analysis to inform understanding of the strategic and competitive landscape
- Help drive audience understanding and provide specific insight on how people interact on social.
- Understand the Social KPIs. Articulate how those Social KPIs can contribute to strengthening the brand’s relationship with its audiences
- Create social messaging architectures, and apply messaging across journeys, touchpoints, and ---------- nts.
- Partner closely with Creative teams to bring Social-centric ideas to life
- Contribute to recommendations for owned social
- Collaborate on end-to-end campaign planning with other teammates

The Requirements
- 2+ years directly-related Social Strategy experience (not only social media activation, community management, influencer management, etc.)
- Depth & breadth of experience working with social media tools and resources, e.g.,
knowledge across different social media platforms/channels, e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn
- Passion and curiosity in the social space – you naturally keep up with / ahead of what social platforms and brands are doing out there!
- Exceptional communication and English skills
- Must know how to post on social scheduling tool Hootsuite (no training will be provided)
