Church Video Editor

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join our church community. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and the ability to tell engaging stories through video content. The primary responsibility for this role is to edit and deliver one 35-45 minute video each week that effectively communicates our message and promotes our faith-based community. The final video product must be delivered by noon (Eastern Standard Time) every Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Editing and delivering one 35-45 minute video per week by noon (EST) each Thursday, ensuring that the final product aligns with our church's values and vision.
• Collaborating with our creative team to develop a visually appealing and compelling narrative for each video.
• Applying appropriate video and sound effects to enhance the viewing experience and engagement.
• Managing and organizing all raw footage, including logging, syncing, and preparing it for the editing process.
• Reviewing all final edits and revisions to ensure they meet our church's standards for quality and message alignment.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to stay innovative in the field of video editing.
• Communication via email or video calls for project updates and tea ---------- etings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in video editing (please provide a portfolio or examples of previous work).
• Proficiency in video editing software, such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of post-production workflow.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of our church's mission and values.
• Flexibility to accommodate last-minute changes or revisions.
• An understanding of the unique requirements and sensitivities of creating content for a faith-based organization would be beneficial.

Additional Information:

• This is a remote position open to candidates in the Philippines. The final video must be ready by noon EST (around midnight or 1:00 AM Philippine Standard Time) every Thursday.
• Payment is per video, made ---------- tails regarding the rate and payment platform (such as PayPal) will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Good command over written and spoken English is necessary for effective communication.
