Job Responsibilities:

1. Video Editing: Edit raw video footage and add effects/elements to enhance motion graphics.

2. Storytelling: Collaborate with the team to brainstorm video ideas, script, storyboard, budget, allocate resources, set deadlines and select optimal forms of media for projects.

3. Post-Production Tasks: Handle all technical aspects of video editing, including sound design, color correction, and final rendering for distribution.

4. Consistency: Maintain the company's brand in all produced content.

5. Collaboration: Work closely with the production team to create seamless and creative content.

6. Up-to-date Knowledge: Keep up with editing software updates, new techniques and industry trends.

Required Qualifications:

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
- Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, etc.)
- Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
- Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, continuity, etc.
- Creative mind and storytelling skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Ability to work well in teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proficient in special effects, 3D, and compositing.
- Familiarity with motion graphics is preferred.

Work Schedule:

The Professional Video Editor will work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with occasional requirements to work outside of standard business hours to meet project deadlines.
