POSITION SUMMARY

As a Security Engineer at Sourcepass, you will define, document, and deliver security documentation that demonstrates compliance with required security controls. The Security Engineer will maintain security protocols and infrastructures for clients organizations. The ideal candidate will have a variety of experiences in security management, operating systems and virtualization technologies. The position reports to the Director of Cybersecurity I ---------- Response.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Understanding of networks, workstation, and server related technologies with a concentration in security concepts
Self-driven problem-solving abilities, with the capability to learn
Develop and deploy security tools and integrations including vulnerability scanning, EDR, SIEM, and security awareness
Respond to events and alerts and resolve issues
Good interpersonal and relational team-building skills
Interface with clients to discuss and explain their security toolsets during onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding.
Create technical documentation for all new or modified processes.
Ensuring security deployments are healthy on an ongoing basis

DESIRED SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE

Experience with event logging and monitoring, vulnerability scanning, vulnerability scanning, and endpoint security management 
Understands complex problems easily coupled with being a fast learner and great problem-solver
Capable of handling multiple projects of various sizes simultaneously.
Experience with the installation of software and the collection of log information from enterprise operating systems.
Experience working with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, and Azure)
