Location: Philippines, Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in automating our audit department's processes through the implementation of automation and machine learning strategies. Additionally, you will be responsible for enhancing our case management platform built with React.js and Node.js, as well as our Localgov tax & fee administration platform.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the audit department to understand their processes and requirements, and leverage automation and machine learning techniques to automate audit processes.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions using automation and machine learning technologies to streamline tax audits for local governments.
- Enhance our case management platform, built with React.js and Node.js, to improve functionality, user experience, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of software enhancements.
- Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of the software applications.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
- Act as a technical mentor and provide guidance to junior tea ---------- mbers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing culture.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
At least 5 years of professional software development experience, with a focus on web applications.
Strong proficiency in Python, Machine Learning, React.js and Node.js, with a solid understanding of their core principles and best practices.
Experience in developing automation and machine learning solutions, particularly in the context of audit processes, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of the listed stack: Vite framework, Vercel deploy tool, Tailwind CSS package, CSS-mediaquery CSS query, Headless UI package, Hookform React form package, Tanstack table build tables, Tanstack query state management, Husky Git tool, Jsdom, Mock Service Worker, and Docker.
Familiarity with database systems, RESTful APIs, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
