Accounting Manager

we are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the daily activities of the accounting department.
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain accurate financial records and safeguard company assets.
Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with other departments.
Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during annual audits and provide necessary support and documentation.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws.
Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including billing, collections, and vendor relationships.
Provide guidance and training to accounting staff, including performance evaluations and professional development opportunities.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall financial performance.
Assist in financial planning and analysis, including financial modeling and scenario planning.
Maintain accurate fixed asset records and oversee depreciation calculations.
Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital and support business operations.
Prepare and submit accurate and timely financial reports to management and stakeholders.
