Part-Time Video Editor

I am in need of an honest, hardworking, self-motivated person who can work independently to do simple video editing for me on a long-term, part-time / as-needed basis (10 to 20+ hours per week) with the intention that it will grow into a full-time, permanent position. The majority of projects are video interviews recorded using Zoom for posting on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram, which would typically require the following tasks:

- Trimming the beginning and end, and some in the middle
- Adding an intro and outro video
- Add B-roll stock footage to some videos
- Time-stamping the trimmed video after adding the intro and outro (trimmed length typically 20 to 30 minutes)
- From the long-format footage, creating 2 to 3 highlight videos with intro and outro as well, approx. 3 to 5 minutes each
- Creating reels and videos that align with our brand and business goals
- Also, creating some slideshow videos from a collection of still photos, adding some simple text and/or motion graphics
- Designing eye-catching thumbnail images
- Other design tasks as needed

Compensation is a combination of base hourly rate plus performance bonus. Your performance will be evaluated based upon:

- speed, accuracy and quality of completed tasks,
- productivity (as tracked by productivity-tracker ---------- ), and
- communication responsiveness (how quickly you reply to my messages).
