Shopify Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Specialist to revamp and optimize our e-commerce store. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in e-commerce, specifically with Shopify, and a deep understanding of the platform's functionalities and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

1. Redesign and reorganize the existing Shopify store using a modern, high-converting Shopify template that reflects our brand.
2. Optimize the website for faster load times, ensuring a smooth and seamless customer experience.
3. Implement an efficient and logical product organization system for our extensive product range, improving product searchability.
4. Develop a highly intuitive and easy-to-navigate website layout that guides customers through the purchase process.
5. Ensure the website is optimized for SEO and mobile browsing.
6. Set up and maintain plugins to increase website functionality.
7. Monitor website performance and make necessary adjustments for optimal performance.
8. Work closely with our team to maintain the brand’s aesthetic and marketplace presence.

This project should take about 4-6 weeks to complete. Once the project is completed, there will be an opportunity for part-time work maintaining the website with monthly maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience in managing and optimizing Shopify websites, preferably in a high-volume e-commerce environment.
2. Strong understanding of SEO principles and e-commerce best practices.
3. Proficiency in website analytics and related tools.
4. Familiarity with the latest trends in e-commerce user experience.
5. Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with teams.
6. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid, Shopify’s templating language.
