Trinity Church in Chicago: ---------- is seeking a full-time Marketing and Communications Coordinator. The role will involve brainstorming, planning, and implementing integrated promotional strategies and campaigns—digital and print. This includes external marketing to attract new people, as well as internal communications to further engage attenders and ---------- ndidates must be marketing-savvy, psychologically-minded, growth-conscious, able to work by themselves, display strong collaboration, and consistently meet deadlines.

Full-time means a forty (40) hour work week Monday to Friday at $6 USD per hour. Hours worked are generally flexible, but the candidate must be *available* on Tuesdays between 5am/6am and 6am/7am local Philippine Standard Time (PHT) for a weekly Zoom call (Daylight savings twice a year causes these times to shift). Additional hours are possible if desired, as well as the very rare exception of up to a sixty (60) hour week under exceptional circumstances. Occasional weekend availability may be ---------- pending on the candidates strengths, the role may evolve in the future. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports directly to the Team Manager.

***QUALIFICATIONS***

- Candidate must be a Christian.
- Effectively speaks and writes English.
- Displays creative outside-of-the-box thinking.
- Strives for excellence, brand awareness, and follows industry trends.
- Ideally has experience volunteering or working in a church.
- Preferably holds qualifications, or corresponding achievements, in relevant fields.
- Has working knowledge of event promotion.
- Ability to employ problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Values establishing, tweaking, and maintaining organizational systems.
- Proficient in Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) (Specifically, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Drive), Google ads, WordPress, YouTube marketing, Social Media marketing, and Google analytics. Proficiency in other related services is a plus.
- Experience working with graphic designers, print designers, and video editors. Adequately grasps the technical language in these fields.
- Shows examples of effective delegation.
- Able to work from alternative locations if their personal internet connection goes down.

***RESPONSIBILITIES***

MARKETING STRATEGIES:
The Coordinator takes full ownership of the marketing strategies for Trinity’s planned teaching series, church calendar, and special promotional events.

CREATIVE PROCESS:
In conjunction with others: brainstorm marketing ideas, develop marketing concepts (including slogans and content), write creative briefs, manage graphic and video creation with designer(s) and video editor(s), oversee creative revision and approval process, organize media elements.

ONLINE ADS:
Optimize, improve, and expand Trinity’s paid search engine ads.

LOCAL LISTINGS:
Optimize, improve, update, and expand our local listings. Respond to reviews. Google Maps, Yelp, Facebook, etc...

WEBSITE:
Oversee the performance of Trinity’s website(s). Make simple updates. Request and manage advanced website updates as needed from web designers and ---------- itiate annual external website review. Coordinate new website projects.

SOCIAL MEDIA:
Improve and expand our social media presence. Schedule posts promoting our events, as well as post-event photos and information.

YOUTUBE MARKETING:
Identify and geographically promote short video clips from Trinity’s weekly sermons on YouTube. Training ---------- O:
Conduct keyword research. Oversee the creation of SEO optimized articles each month and appropriate link building. Conduct annual analysis of our SEO performance with consultants.

REPORTS:
Provide ongoing reports measuring the outcome of our efforts. As well a simple daily report.

BUDGET:
Effectively manage the annual marketing budget, staying within the established expenses, as well as finding ways to reduce costs.

FLEXIBLE:
As a key participant in our organization, the Marketing & Communications Coordinator is expected to be flexible and willing to assist with other tasks if or when they arise.

***PERKS***

PAID VACATION:
Five paid vacation days in the first year (cannot be used in the first four months). Five additional paid days each year up to twenty days maximum.

NATIONAL HOLIDAYS:
Those working full-time (30+ hours per week) will be paid for the following National Holidays if they fall on a working day: Chinese New Year, People Power Revolution, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Black Saturday, The Day of Valor (Bataan Day), Labor Day, Eid'l Fitr, Independence Day, Eidul Adha, Ninoy Aquino, National Heroes Day, All Saint's Day, All Soul's Day, Bonifacio Day, Immaculate Conception Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Rizal Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year’s Day.

13th MONTH BONUS:
December double pay (paid at the end of November).

MATERNITY/PATERNITY TIME-OFF:
Maternity is one hundred and five (105) days. Paternity is seven (7) days for the first four (4) children. Since this type of leave is covered through SSS, Trinity does not compensate for it.

HEALTH INSURANCE:
Private health insurance for those working full-time and their immediate family is offered after the first full year.
