JOB OVERVIEW

Do you want to join an up and coming marketing agency in Melbourne, Australia? We are on the lookout for for an enthusiastic assistant with prior experience with marketing agencies or corporate marketing roles.

The Marketing & Administration Assistant is responsible for supporting the marketing team in implementing effective marketing campaigns whilst providing necessary administrative support for the business’ owner and small team.

Our clients are varied - and they include software companies, law firms, health practitioner, beauty salons, consultants, landscape designers. But our business focuses on all forms of marketing (digital and traditional) and has a real focus and passion for helping small businesses.

The role is full time role, Monday to Friday, and the successful candidate will receive generous benefits (health, 13th month) - which will be discussed in detail with shortlisted candidates. The Marketing & Administration Assistant will be based in our agency’s Ortigas office and will have one (soon to be two, as we are making another hire as well) colleagues. The office has its own cafe, games room, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Administrative & Data Entry:

Data Entry: Entering data as provided into a CRM and email marketing platform.
Data Mining: Conducting web research to complete missing data - and also the ability to prepare lists based on demographics.
Preparing lists: Putting together lists based on instructions
Event surveys: compiling survey responses and producing a periodic report of statistics for analysis by marketing team.
Event responses: compiling RSVPs and putting responses into CRM/spreadsheet.
Producing Reports: Produce reports and summaries for website analytics, email marketing analytics and event feedback statistics
Documenting Processes: Whilst working on projects, it is important that the employee can document the processes used while they are undertaking tasks.
Calendar Management and General Administration & Personal Assistant tasks
Managing and cleaning up file storage (i.e. in Dropbox)

Digital Marketing:

Social Media: Experience setting up and scheduling posts in Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
Email Marketing: Should be able to follow the necessary processes in order to successfully prepare email marketing campaigns in Campaign Monitor and MailChimp. (You will be able to liaise with a writer and designer - instructions provided).
Web Updates: Applicant should be able to update content on Wordpress (instructions provided).

Desirable:

Ability to use some or many of the applications in Adobe Creative Cloud?(favourable, not essential)
Prior experience working with a marketing agency or in a digital marketing team would be helpful.
Project management expertise for marketing agencies (not a must - but very highly desirable!)
