Virtual Assistant (Graphic Design Focus) for Novelty Sock Business

We are a growing novelty sock business seeking a creative, detail-oriented virtual assistant with a strong background in graphic design to help us scale our product line and take our branding to the next level.

Job Responsibilities:
Artwork preperation - edit, retouch and crop photos for production
Graphic Design - Create original, engaging design content for our novelty socks, turning our ideas from concept to final product. This also includes designing captivating visuals for our email campaigns, blog posts, social media, and other marketing initiatives.
Product Management - Assist in adding new inventory and product details to our database. This involves uploading new sock designs and relevant product information to various online marketplaces.
Pattern Making and Illustration - Use your expertise in pattern making and illustration to develop unique, eye-catching designs in various art styles that appeal to our diverse customer base.
Collaboration and Communication - Work closely with our team to brainstorm and execute design ideas, provide updates on your progress, and incorporate feedback into your designs.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in graphic design, particularly in textile design, pattern making, and illustration.
Proficient in graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and/or other relevant software, including AI tools like Midjourney, ChatGPT and Stable Diffusion.
Ability to alter pre-rendered images or stock images to create unique, visually appealing content.
Experience with data entry and product management, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
Excellent attention to detail, organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
A creative mind with a knack for innovation and problem solving.
Interest in fashion, particularly in novelty socks, is a plus.
Art Test:
As part of our selection process, shortlisted candidates will be required to complete an art test. This will involve creating a novelty sock design based on a brief that we will provide. This will allow us to assess your design skills, creativity, and ability to follow design briefs.
