JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities:

Management of projects from inception and proposal phases, hand-off to the field superintendents and foremen, through accounting close.

Preconstruction process to include site surveys/site walks and subcontractor selection and preparation of client proposals

Developing/tracking project budgets to include all costs for labor, materials, and subcontractors

Management of master schedules, project time lines and milestones

Providing updates/formal weekly schedules for all current and prospective projects to owners/executive management

Verification of inspection schedules and reports

Inventories required – site inventories and materials

Submittal and approval of all subcontracts and change orders

On-site relations with GC’s , facility representatives, subcontractors, and city officials


What we are looking for:

5+ years of Construction Project Management Career Progression

Ability to read and interpret architectural plans and specifications.

Technical Construction Knowledge – Understanding of commercial on-site building methods and material flow logistics

Construction Technology - software for scheduling and tracking job progress

Leadership – Passionate, accountable, organized, proactive and results-oriented

Effective communicator at all levels of the organization internally and externally

Problem solver – takes ownership of solutions for field staff

Organizational skills – Track record overseeing teams of individuals, schedule, coordination and financials of million dollar projects

Scheduling, purchasing, estimating, as well as management of personnel, vendors, and subcontractors.

Financial Accountability – Grasp of project profit and loss tools

Safety excellence – fosters a great safety culture.

Bachelor’s degree in construction/engineering field preferred or equivalent work experience

Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to ensure all established deadlines are ---------- ndidates will be proficient with computers and must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Microsoft Project and Owners Insite is a plus.
