Drafting - Mechanical Engineer with Solidworks skills

This position is ideal for a self-motivated engineer with a can-do attitude & practical hands-on approach willing to work in a small team environment.

The role entails both project design and fabrication ---------- requires you to be adept with Solidworks, in order to assist with mechanical drafting and design when required such as shop drawings, sales general arrangement drawings and tank fabrication drawing.

As part of your role, you will also be required to review mechanical (HVAC) specifications & drawings, and then prepare equipment selections using our various software tools, Excel templates & ERP. This job is ideally suited to someone who has been in an estimating, engineering or Quantity Surveyor role.

Therefore at least 2 years experience in drafting in SolidWorks or similar and university degree in Mechanical Engineering (or Chemical Engineering) is a must for this role.
Experience in pressure vessel design is not essential but will be useful.

Having an intermediate-advanced knowledge of Excel will also be useful.
You must have an eye for detail, be methodical and possess a willing team spirit.

You are also required to possess a good computer and must have fast reliable internet speed.
This can be a part-time or full-time role.
