We are looking for an experienced SEO writing brain.
The connector of dots and ideas.

The SEO Manager/Specialist is a true digital native – familiar with most of the modern SEO methods, tools and platforms that make a great website experience, as well as ALWAYS being willing to learn new ways to make things happen.
The role is suited to a senior SEO expert. If you have been an SEO specialist for a while and would like to step up into better and more exciting projects, then this could be your opportunity!


The Role

Also known as an SEO Manager, the SEO Specialist focuses on delivering organic traffic improvements to a portfolio of businesses. Full training will be provided where required, but we expect you to be familiar with most of the SEO tasks required in an SEO agency. The ideal candidate has a particularly good understanding of advanced SEO techniques with a focus on technical SEO writing, along with a desire to learn and develop within the digital marketing industry. The ideal candidate will also keep up to date with the latest changes in SEO/digital marketing and willing to test and learn new ideas where appropriate.

Previous SEO job experience is required.


Key Responsibilities

--Keyword research to determine the most appropriate words to use in online articles and copy
--Write or optimize on-page elements like meta titles and descriptions
--Evaluate websites through content audits / content gap analysis
--Perform technical audits based on Google webmaster standards
--Link building & blogger outreach
--Report on key performance metrics using Google Analytics and SEO tools
--Google My Business & local SEO
--Present SEO work during client meetings
--Maintain and update company information in online directories such as Yelp
--Conduct local link building and citation building to improve local SEO
--Manage the company's backlink profile with local relevant websites
--Maintain and update spreadsheets and SEO tools as needed
--Create, and manage (PPC) paid campaigns on different platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn), troubleshoot issues on each, execute ad changes, and integrate UTM/Pixel ID set-up when needed.
--Test and optimize campaigns in order to improve performance, including audience targeting, keyword research and selection, ad group structuring, ad copywriting, and landing page testing.
--Collect and analyze data, perform daily and weekly reporting, and build dashboards with the information. You will need to analyze user engagement (e.g., Click through rate) and provide a rational interpretation of the data.
--Track daily, weekly & monthly KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement. Conduct reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis and communicate back to the team on performance
--Assist in determining the effectiveness of paid efforts and identify strategy with necessary tactics and resources
--Gather competitive intelligence, including research on competitor keywords, ad copy, and landing pages then generate ideas and strategies to improve campaign performance
--Identify the dynamics of marketing for our clients and contribute creative input for new strategies to level up the results
--Documents and plans to build processes to scale the productivity and results
--Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns
--Provide SEO analysis and recommendations, particularly with relation to the features and structure of websites and web pages.
--Provide recommendations and carry out content creation methods in accordance with general and keyword-specific SEO goals.
--Monitor and manage our social media initiatives by providing accurate data and insights on our ongoing campaigns.
--Manage and optimize Google My Business (GMB) listings
--Add photos and videos to GMB listings to showcase the businessMonitor and track the performance of GMB listings, using data to inform strategy


Qualifications / Experience

--2 years of full-time SEO experience required, web developer background (Nice to have not required)
--Good understanding of SEO fundamentals with a focus on technical SEO
--Exposure to SEO tools like SEM Rush / Ahrefs / Screaming Frog
--A C2 standard of spoken and written English
--Advanced Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Google Sheets
--Great work ethic and able to work independently
--Able to analyze the SERPs for a given keyword and craft a better article
--Proven writing experience with marketing topics
--Deep expertise in Affiliate marketing, Content marketing, Email Marketing, or SEO niches.
--Portfolio of published marketing articles
--Knowledge of SEO best practices

--You'll be required to take a short writing assessment between interviews if you are shortlisted.
