Cabinet Design Assistant

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Cabinet Design Assistant with a solid understanding of kitchen, bath, and closet design, specifically regarding cabinetry layouts/configurations. This position will play a crucial role in designing cabinetry layouts for our clients using our proprietary software and creating proposals for our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Designing cabinetry layouts for kitchens, baths, and closets using our cloud-based and desktop applications.
- Taking off from architectural drawings and converting measurements from imperial to metric.
- Preparing and revising design drawings for presentation to customers.
- Preparing and revising quotes, organizing costs on a Google Sheets template to create proposals.
- Communicating effectively with our representative in the showroom.

Required Skills:
- Basic understanding of kitchen, bath, and closet design, specifically in regards to cabinetry layouts/configurations.
- Familiarity with using design software applications; training will be provided on our specific platforms.
- Ability to understand and use architectural drawings for takeoffs.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong ability to organize and manage various tasks, and to revise designs and quotes as needed.
- Familiarity with Windows or Windows on Parallels.
