Part time Truck Dispatch

We are looking for THREE highly motivated experienced Part-time Truck Dispatcher with great attitude and excellent communication skills, who knows how to negotiate and book the best load for the driver, knows how to plan the week, and knows how to operate with DOT ELD regulations.

Hours will grow from Part-time to full-time.

The trucks that we are dispatching are:

- 26’ Foot Box Trucks (10,000lbs weight capacity) / Dock Height / w/ Lift Gate
- Sprinter Van/ Cargo Van/ Ram Promaster / (High Roof)

Responsibilities will include:

- Responsible for the coordination, scheduling, dispatching, and planning of customer freight shipments
- Prospect and Existing Client outreach
- Contacting Prospects for both Shipper/s and Broker'/s.
- A candidate that has a strong personality that can connect with NYC Personalities
- 50+ outbound calls per day to qualify and Build Relationships(on the latter part of the job, during non-peak season)
- Being familiar with Load Boards – Sylectus/ DAT / Amazon Relay / and various Broker Sites
- Ability to negotiate and book loads for drivers
- Book Loads that will keep the drivers happy and generate income for the company.
- Prospect and Existing Client outreach(we have existing shippers and brokers, and are looking to add loads & backhauls into our current mix)


- Monitor performance and available hours of Fleet Drivers
- Work cooperatively with customer service/sales to provide solutions for customers’ needs and resolve issues
- Other duties as assigned
- Qualified individual will be responsible for driver efficiency while ensuring all customer expectations are met
Serves as a point of contact for drivers
- Ability to communicate clearly in a respectful manner at all times with both customers and drivers
- Understands DOT regulations
- Understands ELD Logs and Driver hours of operation.

The processor should be 2.0ghz and above, Intel core 5/7 is highly required for main hardware and back-up
Ram should be at least 8 gigs with 100 Gb of Free disk space
A second Monitor for multi-tasking
A back up computer
A Headset with a noise-canceling feature
At least 10 Mbps & up wired connection for the main and backup ISP
Strictly no USB Sticks allowed for backup ISP
