C2W App Developer

C2W is a one-stop solution provider for supply chain management, manufacturing, quality control, and product development requirements in China and SE Asia.

We are currently seeking an experienced In-House Application Developer to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate will be tasked with reworking an existing app for a Bluetooth-connected fitness device and continuously updating the app with additional features.

This is a full-time role; we require someone who can work 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Rework, update, and maintain an existing app that pairs with a Bluetooth-enabled fitness device.
• Design and build applications for the Android and iOS platforms.
• Submit the application for both Google Store and the iOS APP store.
• Collaborate with the team to define app features.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the app.
• Identify and fix bugs as well as improve application performance.
• Work on new feature additions and updates, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Collaborate with the design team to identify and improve UI and UX elements.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent eye for detail.
• Able to work without supervision and with tight deadlines.
• Proven working experience in app development (Minimum of 3 years).
• Deep familiarity with both Android and iOS application development.
• Proficient with programming languages such as Java, Kotlin (for Android), and Swift, Objective-C (for iOS).
• Experience with Bluetooth technology integration in mobile applications.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with APIs and how to connect Android/iOS applications to back-end services.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• A portfolio of previously developed apps is a plus.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but not required.
