Job Description: The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working with in and out of network claims. The duties of this position will require an individual with strong multi-tasking ability, attention to detail and excellent attendance. Come join our friendly and professional team!

Duties include but are not limited to:
Appeals for authorization denials
Submitting claims to health insurance companies
Calling health insurance companies to follow up on claims status.
Contacting patients to collect provider reimbursements paid directly to the
subscriber.
Complete and accurate documentation of patient notes.
Preparation and distribution of patient statements
Ability to negotiate repayment of debt
Issuing final demand for payment
Submitting Appeals for underpayment

Position Requirements:
- Windows 10
- Processor of i3 and up
- 8GB installed RAM
- 20 mbps internet speed and up
- USB headset with noise-canceling feature
- Dual monitors
- Able to work on a graveyard shift
- STRONG MULTI-TASKING ABILITIES
- 2 + years working for medical practice (internal medicine experience preferred)
- Solid foundation in basic health insurance/billing terminology.
- Strong office skills to include proficiency in Excel, Word, PDF Pro and Outlook.
- Strong typing skills (min. 35wpm)
- Experience and knowledge in medical billing and coding
