Product Owner

We're looking for a full-time Product Owner for a networking startup. The startup uses agile development, utilizing sprints and a backlog, supported by Jira. As the product owner, it's your job to plan these sprints and ensure the entire development team is fully aligned. As the product owner, it's your role to ensure the product(s) meet the customer's needs.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Understanding customer needs as well as open defects / issues.
• Managing and prioritizing product backlog items with stakeholders
• Oversee the backlog and sprint planning
• Assisting the development team to meet the objectives of each sprint
• Ensure product documentation is updated to reflect each sprint delivery
• Keeping customers and (non-technical) stakeholders informed of the status of the product

Must-have:
- Senior (5+ years) experience in agile development
- Prior experience as a product owner, including backlog management & sprint planning
- Experience in using Jira
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Near-fluent in English
