Senior QA Engineer / Test Lead

We're looking for a full-time lead QA Engineer / Test Lead for a networking Startup. They have built a local app for Windows / MacOS, and need to formalize their testing. This includes creating test plans, test cases and executing manual testing (and if possible automate them) testing for new features as well as regression ---------- 's also your job to provide feedback on the user experience where possible, and to detect any edge / fringe cases that may break the app.

Most important: you need to have a pro-active attitude and a very structured approach to testing. As you're the final station between changes / fixes and enhancements, it's up to you to ensure the app which is released to customers is free of ---------- 's up to you to d ---------- the best way to do ---------- your application - explain to us why this role describes you, i.e. have you setup a test strategy from scratch before, and where? What experience do you have with application (Windows or MacOS) testing? What's been your approach?

Must-have:
- Senior (5+ years) experience in QA / Testing
- Experienced in testing Windows applications
- Experienced in creating test plans, test cases and regression tests
- Near-fluent in English
- Values quality code, security, maintainability & performance
- Pragmatic and pro-active attitude, self-starter

Nice to have:
- Experience in test automation
- Experience in testing on MacOS
