Part-Time Personal and Business Accountant

Location: Online

Our company is seeking a Part-Time Accountant with a focus on personal finance to start, and gradually transitioning to business accounts. We are looking for a meticulous, patient individual with excellent listening skills, and knowledge in using the Wave accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

Initiate with the analysis and management of personal finances.
Gradually transition into analyzing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the business's record keeping and financial systems.
Accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions for personal and business accounts.
Review, process, and reconcile personal and business accounts payable and receivable.
Provide monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports for personal and business finances.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts for personal and business accounts.
Regularly communicate on financial matters and provide insights to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably with exposure to personal finance.
Proven proficiency with Wave accounting software.
Exceptional patience and excellent listening skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
