Title: Digital Marketing Assistant

Our client is a holistic health and nutrition company based in Burlington, Ontario. They use a unique analytic tool called Quantum Nutrition Testing to perform comprehensive evaluations of the body. Rather than merely treating symptoms, they strive to understand their root causes and use this knowledge to help the body regain balance and heal naturally. Offering services in nutritional counselling, holistic nutrition, and women's health, our client is committed to promoting sustainable health and well-being through a holistic lens.
They are currently seeking a part-time Digital Marketing Assistant to bolster their online presence and further their mission of promoting holistic health practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Graphic Design: Creation of logos, brand kits, and brochures to enhance brand image and communicate effectively with the target audience.
- Social Media: Design of static posts and carousel templates, and perform keyword and hashtag research to enhance social media presence and engagement.
- Copywriting: Writing SEO-optimized website copy to improve search engine rankings.
The role also involves providing minor support for website optimization to enhance user experience and website performance.
Skills and Competencies:
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, with a creative eye for aesthetics and detail.
- Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, algorithm trends, and best practices for creating engaging content.
- SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and ability to write SEO-optimized copy, aiming to improve website visibility and ranking.
- Content Creation: Ability to create compelling and well-written copy, understand the brand voice and effectively communicate to the target audience.
- Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough keyword and hashtag research to optimize social media posts.
- Web Optimization Understanding: Knowledge of basic web optimization principles to enhance website performance.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently, prioritizing work as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment, but also independently when required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and effective internal and external communication.
Additional Information:
- Permanent work-from-home, remote role offer
- Starts part-time, 5-10 hours per week with a possibility to increase hours leading to full-time engagement
- Must be available to work starting at 9:00 am EST onwards (night shift/ 9:00 pm PH)
- Must have complete home equipment setup (desktop/laptop, headset, internet connection, and webcam)
- Has home internet speed of at least 50 Mbps
