If food and writing sound like music to your ears, you may be a great fit for this role. I am piloting a new series featuring engaging, mouth-watering recipe roundups on my food blog.
I am looking for an experienced food writer to create engaging, grammar-free SEO food roundup blog articles. A strong command of the English language and the ability to follow instructions are necessary.
Examples of roundups:
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will write fun, engaging, and informative SEO-optimized articles at least five times weekly. Although there is no fixed word count, you will write roughly 3-4 sentences per recipe included in the roundup (anywhere from 25-45 recipes total per roundup).
You do not need to search for the blog posts, as a list of recipes will be provided for you to choose from.
However, you will be responsible for writing a short description for each of the 25-45 recipes you select from the list. For this pilot project, we need 100% human-written content.
To streamline the process, we will provide a content template, SEO report, and a list of URLs for the roundup.
You will be responsible for writing fun, factual, engaging, and SEO-optimized content, which you will upload to WordPress.
You also do not need to source images, as those will be taken from each recipe you include in the roundup.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Excellent English Writing Skills - A strong command of the English language and the ability to follow instructions are necessary.
Research Skills - You will not be creating new recipes, but you must know how to craft "tasty" descriptions for each recipe. This is where your experience and knowledge about food/recipes come into play.
BENEFITS
Fair rate per article.
Flexible hours.
Earn more (5 roundups are required weekly, but you can write more/work in advance to earn more).
Possibility of a part-time/full-time job offer with additional benefits.
