JOB OVERVIEW

Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team and help manage our mom-focused social media account. As a Social Media Assistant, you will play a key role in creating engaging content, building our online community, and driving brand awareness. Your passion for social media, knowledge of mom humor, and ability to connect with our target audience will contribute to the growth and success of our account.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and executing the social media content strategy for our mom-focused account, including platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest.
- Create and curate engaging and humorous content that resonates with our target audience of millennial moms.
- Schedule and publish social media posts using social media management tools to maintain a consistent posting schedule.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner, fostering positive engagement and building relationships with our audience.
- Conduct social media research to identify trends, viral content, and popular topics within the mom community to inform content creation.
- Collaborate with the graphic design team to develop visual assets, including images, videos, and graphics, that align with our brand and capture the essence of new parent humor.
- Monitor social media analytics, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports on account growth, engagement, and content performance.
- Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to continuously optimize our social media presence.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
-Proven experience in managing social media platforms and creating content that resonates with the target audience.
-Excellent understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, trends, and best practices.
-Familiarity with mom humor, parenting experiences, and an ability to create content that reflects the target audience's interests and challenges.
-Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
-Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to adapt to the brand's tone and voice.
-Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh ideas and think outside the box.
-Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Familiarity with Canva, graphic design software and basic photo/video editing skills are a plus.
