Aged Care GP, a leading provider of healthcare services for the elderly in Australia, is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Transcriptionist to join our team.

As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will be responsible for listening to audio recordings made by doctors and converting them into written reports and recording them in different electronic management systems. Your primary focus will be on accurately transcribing medical dictations, ensuring adherence to established guidelines and maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities:
-Transcribe medical dictations accurately and efficiently.
-Edit and proofread transcriptions for accuracy and clarity.
-Ensure compliance with industry-specific guidelines and regulations.
-Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and records.
-Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify any unclear dictations.
-Meet quality and productivity standards within specified deadlines.
-Transfer completed transcriptions into different electronic management systems, ensuring .

Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or similar role.
-Proficient in medical terminology, abbreviations, and jargon.
-Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Familiarity with transcription software and tools.
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
-Strong computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs and Sheets.
-High level of professionalism and adherence to ethical standards.
-Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
