Power Apps Developer

My Biz Niche is a full-service digital agency specializing in custom website design, development, and online marketing.

We are seeking for a talented and driven Power Apps Developer to join our team as part of the SOV Portfolio Manager ---------- this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the application that handles the statement of values (SOVs) for commercial and residential properties. The application enables users to conduct risk analysis, generate quotes, and rate insurance policies until they are bound. Your expertise in MS Power Apps, MS Power Automate, MS SQL Server, MS SharePoint, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and JSON will be crucial in ensuring the success of the project.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and enhance the Power Apps-based application for managing SOVs in the insurance industry.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders and users to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
3. Implement front-end functionalities using MS Power Apps to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface.
4. Configure and maintain the back-end processing using MS Power Automate to ensure smooth data flow and system integration.
5. Utilize MS SQL Server along with T-SQL to create efficient and optimized Stored Procedures and Views for data storage and retrieval.
6. Manage documents, templates, and reports within MS SharePoint to facilitate document management and collaboration.
7. Leverage the PowerQuery editor in MS Excel to generate comprehensive reports by connecting to the MS SQL Server.
8. Utilize MS Word in Development Mode to create dynamic document templates for generating various reports and documents.
9. Integrate the application with MS Outlook to facilitate email communication and notification features.
10. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and technologies.
11. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve the application's functionality.
12. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and resolve any application-related issues.
13. Ensure adherence to project timelines and deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.


Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Power Apps Developer or similar role, preferably in the context of managing SOV portfolios.
- 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise data solutions with Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Power BI) and data analytics proficiency.
- Experience developing and supporting Microsoft BI and reporting capabilities ( Power BI, PowerPivot, PowerView , SQL Server Reporting Services.)
- Strong proficiency in MS PowerApps for front-end development and creating user-friendly interfaces.
- Extensive knowledge of MS Power Automate for back-end processing and workflow automation.
- Solid understanding of MS SQL Server, including the creation and optimization of Stored Procedures and Views.
- Experience working with MS SharePoint for document management and collaboration.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, particularly in using the PowerQuery editor for data manipulation and report generation.
- Familiarity with MS Word in Development Mode for dynamic document template creation.
- Proficient in working with MS Outlook for email communication and coordination.
- Familiarity with JSON for data interchange and integration purposes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

This is a project based role hourly rate and the work schedule is from Tuesday to Saturday, 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM Philippine time. Work hours maybe extended depending on tasks.
