Civil Engineer

Transportation Safety Engineer or Civil Engineer - Street Simplified
Full-time, Remote

At Street Simplified, we use video analytics to help public sector agencies understand why crashes happen and give them the tools to proactively prevent them. We are looking to hire a transportation safety engineer who is passionate about road safety and saving lives.

Responsibilities and Duties:
*Building detailed reports outlining risks and potential mitigations at high crash locations
*Research into new countermeasures, standards, and agency requirements
*Review of Street Safety Analytics data, quality control, analytics interpretation

Experience:
*Bachelors, Masters, or PhD in transportation, civil, or traffic engineering, or a related field (compensation will vary based on expertise, experience, and education)
*Preferred experience in transportation engineering & design
*Preferred experience in transportation safety
*Preferred experience with programming, statistical analysis, and research

Qualifications:
*Undergraduate or graduate degree in transportation, civil, or traffic engineering or related engineering or science field.
