Medical verification specialist

In this position your roles will be obtaining referrals and pre-authorizations, and verifications as required for procedures.
Checking eligibility and benefits verification for treatments, hospitalizations, and procedures.
Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in number of approved authorized visits given.
Reviewing accounts for insurance of patient follow-up.
Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.
Setting up patient demographic information
Updating verification spreadsheets and time management is a priority
