Full Stack Developer

FULL STACK DEVELOPER

We are looking to hire a Front & Back End Developer who is passionate about road safety and saving lives. At Street Simplified, we use video analytics to help public sector agencies understand why crashes happen and give them the tools to proactively prevent them.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Developing the wireframes, visual mockups, and interteractive mockups for our
•Visualization platform
• Internal web tools
• Publically facing sites that allow the public to engage with safety
• Developing the front end software for our
• Client facing visualization platform
• Internal web tools
• Publically facing sites that allow the public to engage with safety
• Developing the back end software for our
• Visualization platform
• Internal web tools
• Publically facing sites that allow the public to engage with safety


Requirements
• Experience with React, AWS, and working with real time data pipelines
• Experience with coding best practices, architecting front ends for scalability,
• Experience with complex scientific data visualization
• Experience with UX & UI best practices, design for usability, asthetics, etc,
• Experience with similar projects in the past

Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Preference for candidates with advanced degrees
• Preference for experience with UX & UI design.

Must know at least 3 or 4 of the below languages.
•Python
•Java/Javascript
•React (Preference)/(Alternative is Angular JS)
•Node.JS (Framework)
•AWS (Hosting service for services)
•REST API
•Cloud Services
•Mongo DB
