Video Editor - Specializing in Social Media Content Creation

OVERVIEW:

Finally Free Productions is currently seeking highly skilled, creative, and motivated Video Editors to join our dynamic Professional Services team. As we continually pioneer within the digital content arena, we are one of the few companies in NYC proficient in servicing clients across various social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram.

We are looking for Video Editors who can adeptly edit both long-form and short-form videos based on diverse client requirements. The ideal candidate is someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, willingness to work diligently, and a strong capability to enhance the growth of the company through exceptional editing skills.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Edit long-form and short-form videos tailored for all social media platforms
Create engaging and dynamic captions with animations
Develop high-quality content that reflects the vision and aesthetic of each client
Exhibit strong work ethics and an intense drive to succeed
Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail, efficient time management, and sound decision-making skills
Utilize proficient computer, grammar, and multi-tasking skills

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in video editing (portfolio of previous work required)
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, or Avid Media Composer
Experience in editing TikTok and IG reel style videos
Ability to create and implement animated captions
Understanding of modern trends in video editing and social media content
Ability to maintain a clean editing timeline and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience with colour correction and sound design
Understanding of storytelling techniques in a digital platform context
Strong sense of pacing and timing in the context of video editing
