Controller/CFO at USA CPA Firm—Salaried Position - $2000/MO

Job Overview
Perpetual CPA, a U.S.-based accounting firm, is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Controller/CFO. This is a remote position, and the successful candidate will be based in the Philippines. This individual will be responsible for the controllership and CFO-level projects for our small business clients in the U.S. Must have an active CPA license.

Responsibilities
>> Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
>> Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities.
>> Manage cash flow and Upgrade to see actual infovelop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism.
>> Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
>> Lead the annual budgeting and planning process; administer and review all financial plans and compare to actual results with a view to identify, explain, and correct variances as appropriate.
>> Manage organizational cash flow forecasting by working in partnership with the executive team.
>> Continually assess organizational performance against both the annual budget and the company’s long-term strategy.
>> Develop tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the CEO and make actionable recommendations on both strategy and operations.
>> Engage the finance committee of the board of directors to develop short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections.
>> Represent the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.
>> Oversee the company's finance IT system, ensuring maximum productivity and that it meets the needs of the business today and in the future.
>> Manage the team of junior CPAs assigned to the engagements.

Requirements
>> Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 10 years of experience in a senior management role ideally with both external audit and in-house financial management experience gained in a high-growth organization.
>> Proven experience in business administration, US GAAP accounting, US taxation, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), and general Finance organization management.
>> Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies.
