JOB OVERVIEW

We are a coaching college based in Australia catering to primary and high school students who study with us after school hours. We're currently on the look out for someone with teaching experience in the area of English Literature to become one of our proofreaders and online support.

Our syllabus includes gamification and music to keep students engaged and coming back - not to mention raising their scores at school.

As many of our students and their parents are Chinese, an ability to speak and write fluently in Mandarin is a requirement for this role.

Your role will include:

- Researching different aspects of the Australian curriculum and selective entry examinations
- Working with our team to create robust activities, lessons and homework exercises to give the students what they need to succeed at school and building up our English syllabus
- Ensuring questions and activities created are Australia-centric with Australian spelling and grammatical conventions and units of measurement
- Researching more effective ways to deliver content to students
- Marking online homework
- Responding to queries via email or other platforms
- Occasional online tutoring
- Creating Content with Canva and Simple Editing of Videos for Social Media sites such as XiaoHongShu & WeChat.
- Proofreading student assessment with a focus on students attaining results

You will get the opportunity to work from home, so if you have a stable internet connection, a nice quiet room and a Paypal account.

The ideal candidates will be those with an English literature and teaching background preferably with a penchant for helping students achieve high grades.
