Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Expert to join our dynamic team at Puffin Security. As a Cybersecurity Expert, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our client's organization's systems and data from potential threats. Responsibilities:

- Conduct network and system vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Perform penetration testing and ethical hacking activities to proactively identify vulnerabilities in our infrastructure.
- Monitor and analyze network traffic using tools like Wireshark to detect and respond to potential security i ---------- .
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends to ensure the continuous improvement of our security posture.

- Conduct security awareness training sessions for employees to promote a culture of security awareness and adherence to cybersecurity policies.
- Work closely with developers to identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in software applications.

Requirements:

- Strong knowledge of network protocols and experience with network analysis tools such as WIRESHARK.
- Proficiency in web application security testing and experience using tools like BURP Suite.
- Familiarity with Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) and understanding of vulnerability assessment methodologies.
- Solid understanding of LINUX operating systems and command-line tools.
- Experience with penetration testing and ethical hacking techniques.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and ability to review code for security vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with industry security standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt to evolving threats.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both - technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or similar are a plus.
