Job Title: Screenplay Writer (Books)

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and analyze books to determine their potential as a screenplay.
• Write engaging and compelling screenplays that bring the story and characters to life on the screen.
• Adapt books into screenplays while maintaining the integrity of the original work.
• Research and stay up-to-date with trends in the film and television industry.
• Open to revision and editing of the created screenplay as needed based on feedback from the creative team.
• Complete each screenplay adaptation within a 30-day deadline.
• If the screenplay adaptation is not completed within the deadline, a deduction will be applied.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Screenplay Writer, with a portfolio of successful projects. (Employer will require sample copies of your past works).
• Strong writing skills with the ability to adapt to different genres and writing styles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of film and television industry trends and market demands.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain the integrity of the original work.
• Must sign a non-disclosure agreement for each project that is accepted.
• This is a project-based contract.
